Methodology

How we scope, test, review and retest.

We combine automated coverage with manual procedures, critical journey testing and human review. Every conclusion remains tied to the recorded scope and test conditions.

  1. Define

Agree the assessment goal, targets, journeys, environments and authorisation.

  2. Prepare

Confirm access, accounts, test data, dependencies and exclusions.

  3. Test

Run automated discovery, manual procedures and critical journeys.

  4. Review

Check the evidence, user impact, standards mapping and any uncertainty.

  5. Handoff

Give delivery teams prioritised findings and remediation guidance.

  6. Retest

Recreate the original conditions and record whether the barrier remains.

Test coverage

Four sources of test evidence.

Automated rules
Repeatable detection for machine-testable conditions, across the agreed pages and states.
Manual procedures
Keyboard, focus, content, structure and interaction checks that require context.
User journeys
End-to-end procedures for essential paths, including interactions, errors and state changes.
Environment context
Viewport, browser and any agreed assistive technology baseline recorded with the run.

Interpretation

Use scores for triage, not as proof of compliance.

Audita QA can calculate an automated accessibility score to support triage and trend analysis. It does not replace manual assessment, user research or a formal conformance evaluation.

The report records the scope, environment, available states and evidence limits behind each conclusion.
